“At the moment, the burning of UST is simply too sluggish to maintain tempo with the demand for extra UST to exit the system, which is hindered by the BasePool measurement,” reads the proposal. “Eliminating a big chunk of the surplus UST provide without delay will alleviate a lot of the peg strain on UST.”
